What we're building next.

Client work pays the bills. Labs is where we test our own ideas in the real world, in public, before calling them products.

SuperCandy

In pilot

Voice ordering for neighbourhood supermarkets.

Quick commerce has taken the convenience shopper away from the corner store, and the corner store has no app team to fight back with. SuperCandy lets a shopper order the way they always have, by speaking a list in their own language, and puts that order straight into the shop's day. No app for the shopper to learn, no dashboard for the shopkeeper to master.

It is the same belief as the rest of our work, pointed somewhere smaller: the technology is not the hard part, the interface is. We are onboarding the first stores in Bengaluru now and pricing it as a small share of each order, so a shop pays only when it sells.

Why we show unfinished work

Most studios reveal a product on launch day, fully formed and slightly dishonest about how it got there. We would rather say what is in pilot and what is shipping, because the businesses we work with are making real decisions on our answers. Knowing which of our own things are proven and which are still being proven is part of that.

What graduates from Labs

An idea leaves Labs when real customers use it without us in the room, and when we can price it without guessing. Until both are true, it stays here with an honest label on it. Custom AI and Berry have both cleared that bar.

Got an idea that needs a design studio?

If you are building something where the interface is the hard part, we would like to hear about it.
